Istanbul Travel Photobook

Top 5 landmarks in Istanbul
The five places most likely to end up in your Istanbul photobook — and what to know before you photograph them.
Hagia Sophia
Nine centuries a church, five a mosque, with a museum era in between; the mosaics are up on the gallery level.
The Blue Mosque
Twenty thousand İznik tiles give it the name; the courtyard is the only frame that fits all six minarets.
Topkapı Palace
The terrace off the fourth courtyard looks over the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn at the same time.
The Grand Bazaar
Four thousand shops under sixty covered streets; the light coming through the vaults is the photograph, not the goods.
The Bosphorus & Galata
The public ferry to Üsküdar costs less than a coffee and carries you from one continent to the other in about twenty minutes.
Istanbul is two cities that happen to share a ferry timetable, and most trips cross between them several times. Grouped by day, those crossings become the book's structure on their own: a European morning, a boat, an Asian evening. It is the rare destination where the geography does the editing for you, provided the dates stay intact.

Questions about your photobook
Can I put the European and Asian sides on the same spread?+
Yes. Memtach starts from chronological order, but every page is editable — drag the photos from both sides of the Bosphorus onto one spread and add a note explaining the crossing. The rest of the book keeps its day-by-day structure around it.
Can the book explain what we were looking at?+
That is what the facts are for. Memtach puts a few forward for each landmark it recognises and you choose what to keep. For Hagia Sophia the useful one is its sequence of lives — a cathedral for some nine hundred years, a mosque for five hundred, a museum for eighty-five, and a mosque again since 2020.
Can I arrange the photos the way I want?+
Yes, you can. Every page allows full personalization — you can change the layout and arrange the photos entirely according to your preferences. If you prefer a faster option, use auto-fill, which arranges the photos in chronological order.
Will my photos look the same in print as on screen?+
Slight color differences are possible — screens display colors using light, while printing uses ink. Even so, your photos will look as close to the original as possible.
Can I start creating a book now and finish it later?+
Yes. Your diary photobook is automatically saved in the app, so you can continue whenever you like and order it at any time.
