Top 5 landmarks in Paris
The five places most likely to end up in your Paris photobook — and what to know before you photograph them.
Eiffel Tower
Trocadéro at sunrise gives the clean frame without the crowd; after dark the tower sparkles for five minutes at the top of every hour.
The Louvre
The glass pyramid photographs best from the Richelieu arcade, where the courtyard frames it on three sides at once.
Montmartre & Sacré-Cœur
The steps below the basilica look over half of Paris; the lanes behind it hold the village the postcards leave out.
Notre-Dame & Île de la Cité
Shoot the cathedral from Pont de l'Archevêché for the flying buttresses, then lose an hour in the island's back streets.
Arc de Triomphe
Its roof terrace beats the Eiffel Tower for skyline photos, for the obvious reason that the Eiffel Tower is in them.
Paris is walked more than it is toured, and the photos show it: a museum in the morning, a market at noon, the river after dark. Memtach keeps that order instead of scattering it, so each day becomes its own run of spreads and the city reads the way you moved through it — arrondissement by arrondissement, not landmark by landmark.

Questions about your photobook
Which Paris landmarks does Memtach recognise?+
Memtach identifies the major Paris sights — the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre-Dame, Sacré-Cœur, the Arc de Triomphe and others — and names them on the page, so you are not captioning eighty photos by hand. Anything it does not recognise stays in place, in date order, and you can label it yourself.
Can the book say something about the places, not just show them?+
Yes. For every landmark it recognises Memtach offers a few facts to pick from, and you choose which — if any — go on the page. For the Eiffel Tower that might be that it went up as a temporary structure for the 1889 World's Fair and survived mainly because it made a useful radio mast.
Can I arrange the photos the way I want?+
Yes, you can. Every page allows full personalization — you can change the layout and arrange the photos entirely according to your preferences. If you prefer a faster option, use auto-fill, which arranges the photos in chronological order.
Will my photos look the same in print as on screen?+
Slight color differences are possible — screens display colors using light, while printing uses ink. Even so, your photos will look as close to the original as possible.
Can I start creating a book now and finish it later?+
Yes. Your diary photobook is automatically saved in the app, so you can continue whenever you like and order it at any time.
